Cercetare / Research

Interesele mele de cercetare sunt determinate de următoarele arii de studiu: programare orientată pe obiecte, ingineria sistemelor software, reţele de calculatoare, algoritmi şi structuri de date, bioinformatică şi reţele / sisteme complexe, atât biologice cât şi nebiologice.

My research interests are centred towards the following topics: object oriented programming, software systems engineering, computer networks, algorithms and data structures, bioinformatics and complex networks and systems, both biological and non-biological.

Sunt membru în consiliul editorial al revistei “International Journal on Advances in Life Sciences”. De asemenea, sunt „evaluator exceptional” pentru Elsevier si „Journal of Network and Computer Applications”, precum si evaluator al revistei IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing. De asemenea, sunt membru al echipei de evaluatori pentru jurnalul Broad Research in Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience. / I am member of the editorial committee for the “International Journal on Advances in Life Sciences”. I am also an „Outstanding Reviewer for Elsevier” and the „Journal of Network and Computer Applications”, and I am also part of the reviewing team for the journal IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing. Furthermore, I also act as a reviewer for the journal Broad Research in Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience.

Am fost până acum membru în comitetul ştiinţific care a organizat patru conferinţe IEEE – (IEEE BIOTECHNO 2008, BIOTECHNO 2011, BIOTECHNO 2012, BIOTECHNO 2013). De asemenea, am fost “Session chair” pentru una dintre aceste patru conferinţe, BIOTECHNO 2008. / I have been part of the Scientific Program Committee that has organized four IEEE Conferences – (IEEE BIOTECHNO 2008, BIOTECHNO 2011, BIOTECHNO 2012, BIOTECHNO 2013). I have also acted as Session Chair for one of these conferences, BIOTECHNO 2008.
